What is the Sin Borderz project?

Sin Borderz was born from a hands-on experience during the Molitor cabins project, which brought together 70 artists from around the world. I noticed a dual need: that of travelling artists wanting to meet other players in the field during their stay in France, and that of project holders, often frustrated by not knowing which artists were temporarily in their area.

From this observation, I imagined a platform to track artists' movements internationally. Each artist enters their destination, travel dates, and place of residence. Project holders can then identify, via an interactive map and filters (dates, styles, nationalities...), artists present or soon to be present in their area.

In addition to fostering encounters and collaborations, Sin Borderz encourages a more responsible and sustainable approach to artistic mobility. By pooling travel, the project helps reduce unnecessary trips and consequently carbon emissions, while showcasing the international art scene.
